Liao Jiancheng inspected AU Conference Center site
Director Liao Jiancheng of Department of Foreign Aid of Ministry of Commerce came to inspect the AU Conference Center project.January 10, 2010, Director Liao Jiancheng of Department of Foreign Aid of Ministry of Commerce , accompanied by representative Zeng Huacheng of Department of Foreign Aid, general manager Yi Jun of China Construction General Company and director Huang Kesi of No. 8 China Construction Company, came to China aid project African Union Conference Center to know the progress of the construction. And they heard the inspection activity arrangement made by project technical team for the incoming Minister of Commerce Chen Deming in 12th of this month.
Technical team leader Song Sudong reported the work of the project in the former time and the arrangement for the visit of Minister Chen to Director Liao and his party. Director Liao gave positive affirmation for the work of the participating parties and put forward some requirements:
1. All participating parties should improve the awareness about the particularity and the importance of this project. This project is one of the eight acts that Chinese Government promised for the African countries (Organization). And the sense of responsibility and mission should be improved.
2. To a certain extent, the concept of environmental protection, energy saving should be reflected in the Chinese government foreign aid projects.
3. More attention should be payed to the workers teams, their work and living should be arranged properly. The good image of excellent construction enterprise should be showed.
In the visit, Director Liao came to our project supervision team to know the supervision work. Our supervision team leader Fei Jian introduced the progress, quality, safty and control of the project. Director Liao gave positive affirmation to our supervision team's work.
Our supervision team have confidence to successfully complete the project's supervision work under the support of Shenyang Engineering Supervision&Consultation Co., Ltd., under the leadership of representative Zeng and leaders of trade department of Embassy.
