


	Minister of Commerce Chen Deming and other leaders came to inspect China aid project African Union Conference Center. 
   
January
 12, 2010, Minister of Commerce Chen Deming and Vice Chairman of the AU 
Committee Muwencha and their workmates, accompanied by Director Liao 
Jiancheng of Department of Foreign Aid of Ministry of Commerce, Chinese 
Ambassador to Ethiopia Gu Xiaojie and general manager Yi Jun of China 
Construction General Company, came to the site of China aid project 
African Union Conference Center that supervised by our company to know 
the progress of the project.    
   
At 10:45 on January 12, 2010,
 Minister Chen Deming and his workmates finished the talk with Vice 
Chairman of the AU Committee Muwencha in AU headquarters. Accompanied by
 Chinese Ambassador to Ethiopia Gu Xiaojie , Director Liao Jiancheng of 
Department of Foreign Aid of Ministry of Commerce and general manager Yi
 Jun of China Construction General Company, came to the site of China 
aid project African Union Conference Center. Firstly, Minister Chen 
Deming looked in all the management staffs participating in the AU 
Conference Center project. After hearing the report made by technical 
team about the construction progress of the AU Conference Center 
project, Minister Chen Deming gave positive affirmation on construction 
company's principles "safety first, quality oriented, well construction,
 planning guided" and asked the construction company to ensure the 
project quality, progress and safety. He also demanded that at the same 
time the special significance of China aid projects should be understood
 and good image of civilized construction of Chinese construction 
enterprises should be set up. When he was visiting the project design 
representatives and the supervision team, he praised the spirit of 
working in a foreign country that far away from home. He also asked the 
designers to supply high quality technical guidance. He asked the 
supervision engineers to strictly treat the supervision work and pay 
much attention to the project quality and establish AU Conference Center
 Project as the most influential China aid project after the 
Tanzania-Zambia Railway in Africa. He hoped that every one would work on
 it. Later Minister Chen went to see the workers who were working at 
site and talked to them. He carefully inquired the working condition and
 living condition of the workers. He encouraged the workers to work hard
 to complete the project early and realize our government's promise to 
African people.

successfully complete the project's supervision work under the 
leadership of Ministry of Commerce, under the support of our company. We
 will work hard and complete the project with good quality and in time, 
realize our government's promise to African people.
