China aid project Cote d'Ivoire Gagnoa hospital has successfully passed the mid-term acceptance.
 
January 9, 2010,  mid-term acceptance team, 6 people came to inspect China aid project Cote d'Ivoire Gagnoa hospital. The quality inspection and acceptance lasted one week. 
 
The inspection team was formed by 6 people: Official Wu Jie, from Department of Foreign Aid of Ministry of Commerce; official Wang Yue, from Department of Cooperation; team leader Huang, engineer Zheng, engineer Fu and engineer Hao from Chinese Civil Engineering Group Co., Ltd.. After the Inspection team arrived at the site, they held first meeting of mid-term acceptance, seminars with supervisors, representatives of designers and technology team. Economic Consultation Department Secretary Dong Shengli participated in the last meeting of the mid-term acceptance.

During the inspection, they mainly inspected the paper documents and they measured the quality of construction body at site.
      
In the inspection of the documents and files: they made sampling inspection about the process and quality control documents, acceptance records of concealed works, change of design that formed during the construction process. They consulted the construction organization design, technology requirements, construction diaries, training records and records of safety managements. 

In the inspection of the quality of construction entities: mid-term acceptance team made sampling inspection about the entities. The sampling sites were Building A (Clinic Building A), Building B (Clinic Building B), Building C (emergency clinic and administration building), Building D (medical technology building and operating department),  Building E (Obstetrics and Gynecology Ward Building),  Building F (pediatric ward Building),  Building G (Surgical Ward Building),  Building H (medical ward Building). The sampling items were: concrete columns, beams, masonry wall verticality, wall roughness, and the measurements of the holes of doors and windows, the measurements of the construction axes. The sampling items, 100% were qualified.
 
The assessment of mid-term acceptance team: Building A (Clinic Building A), Building B (Clinic Building B), Building C (emergency clinic and administration building), Building D (medical technology building and operating department),  Building E (Obstetrics and Gynecology Ward Building),  Building F (pediatric ward Building),  Building G (Surgical Ward Building),  Building H (medical ward Building). The foundation and it's branches work and the main structural branches of the above were qualified. The foundation and it's branches work of Building N (equipment room 2), Building Q (Water Tower) were qualified.

Through one week inspection, the mid-term quality inspection and acceptance team were satisfied with the work of the supervision team. They knew our supervision team had played the supervision function for construction quality and management. They thanked our supervision team for their cooperation and support in the inspection process. They mentioned the progress of the project. For the schedule has been delayed, official Wang Yue, from Department of Cooperation asked the technology team to increase the speed the construction so that the project can be handed over to Cote d'Ivoire.
 
January 15, 2010, the China aid project Cote d'Ivoire Gagnoa hospital successfully passed the mid-term acceptance. Our supervision team were confident that in the follow-up work, they could make persistent efforts. Under the leadership of the Economic Consultation Department, our supervision team would cooperate with the design company representatives and construction company, they would control the quality and increase the speed and would ensure the transfer of the project in time.
